Welcome to Tascosa Road Fellowship
Tascosa Road Fellowship is a place filled with wonderful people. Our mission is to exemplify our Lord Jesus, see the manifest power of God in operation, and provide an atmosphere where the whole family can grow and develop their gifts and talents. Our church is a place where you and your family can feel at home and get involved with our many areas of ministry. The people are gracious, loving, and dedicated, seeking to follow Jesus Christ in their daily lives by loving and serving others. Our desire is to help people come to know Jesus in an intimate way. We pray that you will experience the love of God and realize how much He cares for you.
If you have been coming to TRF for the past 6 months or more, then we invite you and your family to join us for a special lunch on Sunday November 2nd after the second service in The Gathering Place. You will have the chance to meet the staff of TRF and learn what the vision is for the church. You will also have the opportunity to partner with Tascosa Road Fellowship in becoming a member where you can grow and get involved in areas of ministry throughout the church. A nursery will be provided. We will serve pizza for children 2 and up. Please bring a sack lunch for your child if they are nursery age. We look forward to seeing you there!
Don’t miss a special Town Hall meeting with U.S. Congressman Mac Thornberry on Tuesday, October 21st at 6:30 p.m. at St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Congressman Thornberry will be updating us on the ISIS situation and other important issues affecting our nation as well as the need to support Israel. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. We invite you to be a part of this special Town Hall meeting.
We invite all families to join us for Hallelujah Night 2014 Sunday, October 26th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the Skateplex on 9701 S. Coulter. The cost is $5.00 for ages 2 – 18 and for all adult skaters. Each child can also enter their name into a drawing for a chance to win BIG prizes! And at the end of the night, each child will walk away with a big bag of candy. We will be accepting candy donations in the big blue buckets located in the church foyer until October 19th. Don’t miss this night of celebration and fellowship!
We are pleased to announce two home Bible studies that take place during the week. There is a Bible study hosted by Charlotte Clayburn that meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm @ 1306 Buena Vista. The other bible study is hosted by Frank Chambers and meets on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm at 3018 S. Washington. Join us for a time of fellowship and digging into God’s Word at these home groups.
We want to remind all Christians everywhere to continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for Israel. Remember Genesis 12:3 says “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee.” Let’s continue to stand with Israel!
